Inadequately funded public schools will make it harder for our kids to compete in the worldwide economy. Michael Jackson was a strong humanitarian and cared about the well-being and happiness of children all over the world and education was a strong part of his message to youth around the world. Since his death there has been many beautiful tributes in his honor; books written about him; money donated by thousands of fans and given in his name. After almost three years Vanessa Little, CADeflaw Research Director whispered what many of us were thinking but would never say aloud. Why is Gary, Indiana being left out? What about the students and what are we doing for them? There are many things required to sustain acceptable education in these schools and we asked ourselves what can we do as a group made up of thousands, to let the children of Gary know they are not forgotten and that we love them? We must reinvest in our schools and focus on the future. Only then will we be able to leave behind a positive legacy, one that Michael Jackson struggled so hard to strive toward and one that we can all be proud of. We must be champions for our children. Our group has reached out to support Gary, Indiana schools. We have been blessed in supporting a school in the city and are working with the Principal of The ???Frankie Woods McCullough Girls??? Academy which will be moving into a newly renovated building for the school term 2011 ??? 2012. The students have maintained excellent academic goals throughout the years and can you imagine how excited they would be when they walk through their new school and find new laptops, projectors and an interactive white board in each classroom. We also have high hopes that these young ladies can receive brand new uniforms and also have some beautiful landscaping for their brand new renovated building. We invite the residents of Gary and the entire Michael Jackson community to join us in this endeavor and assist as much as they possibly can. Together, we can make our voices heard and protect our children, our schools, and Gary???s future. Let???s allow these beautiful ???butterflies??? to emerge from their cocoons.

It was created to aid in the restoration of his reputation that was so brutally tarnished by the media and tabloid coverage over a span of decades. Michael was abused and betrayed, over and over again, by the media and by those who pretended to be his friend. If you would like to work towards changing opinions and become part of a movement on behalf of Michael, then this site is for you. Together we can make a change for Michael and his legacy. We can improve how the media operates, so his children they will not be treated the way their father was. We are people from all walks of life, nationalities, races, ages, and socio-economic status. We can send out a message that we will not be dismissed. We are not going to stand for Michael being dehumanized or ridiculed any more. There is strength and power in us. MJCH is a new non-profit organisation that has come into being because of Michael Jackson's love for children and his desire to help as many as possible. It was a life-long dream of Michael's to build children's hospitals all over the world, which would not only treat their illnesses medically, but would also provide quality emotional and psychological support for those with life-threatening or long-term illnesses. Every since the fan community became aware of Michael's wish to build a children's hospital with the proceeds of the This Is It tour, many of us have been wondering if we could do anything to make Michael's last dream come true. The MJCH initiative was created in order to unite fellow fans around the world, to work together and give this gift to the children in our beloved Michael???s name. It is founded and operated by other hard-working, loyal fans of Michael and his philosophies. Head-quartered in Pennsylvania, it is tasked with the mission of improving children's healthcare globally. We intend to do this in the short-term by building additions onto, or renovating existing medical facilities for children. These additions and renovations would afford the facilities the space and tools they need to provide children with permanent toys, games and entertainment aimed at improving their overall emotional well-being. Our largest and ultimate goal however, is to build a brand new children's hospital in Michael's honour, which we plan to name MJCH (Michael Jackson's Children's Hospital).
